Make A free Server

Today I show you how to make a minecraft server for free

1: Download Server Minecraft.net

2: Make a folder and call it server

3: and then drag the server.jar into the server folder we just made

4: now go into the server folder, then right click in the folder and create a new text document

5: Click into the new text document

6: Go back over to the website Minecraft.net and copy the following command

java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.1.17.1.jar nogui

7: Then paste it into the new text document

8: And then remove that Minecraft_server.1.17.1.jar instead put server.jar

9: And then Click on File and then save as,

file name call it, Go.bat

Save as type, All Files (*.*)

And then Click on Save

10: And then Delete the new text document

11: And then double click on the go.bat file, if the go.bat file does not load up you will need to download and install jarfix once you've done that then double click on the go.bat it will load up with a little black window and then close back down then in your server folder you will have three new files (logs) (eula) (server or server.properties)

12: And then open the eula file remove the false and then replace it with true

13: Double click on the go.bat it will load up with a little black window should stay up

and stay running, wait for it to fully load up and wait until it says done

14: once it has fully loaded up, you can head over to Minecraft and then click on multiplayer, then click on direct connection and then server address, put localhost, then join server

15: If you have friends that are in the same house as you, they will be able to join your server with that same command localhost, but if your friend is from a different house he will have to use your ip4 address this is fairly easy to get, you can find out on Google on how to get it, or go to your windows search bar and search for command prompt and then put in, ipconfig & click enter, look for IPv4 Address,

Make sure you trust your friends with your IP address!
